People help one another by playing different roles in the society. We need police officers to keep us safe. We need teachers to help us learn better. And we need the crops farmers grow to be fed. All walks of life matter.

What do you want to be in the future? A vet, a cook, or a firefighter? Let’s take a look at some of our six-graders’ future career choices. Cheng Lei loves the space, so he wants to be an astronaut. Jennie wants to help people by being an FBI agent. Amber enjoys the fashion trend, and she dreams about being a fashion designer. Let’s expect the beautiful clothes she’s going to make! Gina likes reading books about history, and she hopes to be an archaeologist to dig our more secrets of the past. Zi Xin plans to study traditional Chinese medicine, and Jasmine would like to be a surgeon. These two doctors-to-be may have different specialities, but their love for people are the same.

There are a variety of occupations. And getting to choose one’s favorite job is true bliss. Whether you decide to do something you love or something you’re good at, it is important that you are always humble to learn and try your best to achieve your goal. The bright future awaits!
